Where To Start
I have been a seller for years on Poshmark. I am here to give you the best tips on what you need to start. This is a simple list that will get you going. You can decide for yourself how you want to continue. This is a great place to start. I am going to give you an inside look at what is important to me. Why I have paired down to just these few items to make my closet run efficiently. Here are the best supplies I have found useful as a Poshmark Seller and why.
Here is the process to from listing to shipping. To make your first sale, take good photos at different angles. List your item, write a good product description, care about your packaging, and ship in a timely manner.

Essential Supply Products I Use
Printer
Rollo Printer. This tool really changed the game for me and saved me so much time! When I was researching printers, I wanted to make an informed decision. The most important thing to me was that it was a thermal printer (it does not require ink!). Also the ease of use. In the long run, many sellers think the Rollo is a great option.
After packaging multiple sales at a time, I tired of cutting and taping every shipping label to my package. I started researching alternative ways to print labels to save time. I had enough money saved up from my Poshmark sales to purchase a nice set up and knew I wanted to keep it under $200.00. After some research, I decided the Rollo Printer was the way to go. I have no regrets! At the time I purchased it, Rollo’s wireless printer was not an option. I have used my Rollo (a lot) for at least three years and it’s finally starting to give out. I just made the jump and purchased the Rollo Wireless Printer. There are so many great perks to this printer and I am currently working on an unboxing review post. I will share as much information as possible with your soon.
Photo Background
Faux Fur Rug. Every seller uses something different for a background to photograph their items. When I started out, one of my first purchases was a white faux fur rug. I still use it to this day! It can easily roll it up and store it away. Sometimes I take photos on wood floors depending on what I am listing. I personally love having this rug to make my closet look cohesive. They offer different colors, but I think a white background makes the photos come out bright and clean. The rug in the link is similar to what I am currently using.
Another good idea that Poshmark users do to stage photos by hanging items on a wooden hanger on the wall. If you have a designated space for this it is a great way to stage an item from you Poshmark closet.
Shipping and Packing Supplies
A lot of people ship their packages out without any thought to packaging. Even if the package is sent in a timely manner, I will most likely not take the time to write a review if there is no thought to packaging. I will give them five stars for quick shipping, but will have nothing to say about my personal experience with the customer service.
A little thought goes a long way when packing a package! Here are a few simple things I use when packing a package.
Clear Bread Bags. I know this sounds like a strange item to have in your seller tool belt, but they are my favorite way to package my sales! Clear bread bags are literally just clear plastic bags that are cost effective.
I think this is the best way to package your clothing item because it is professional looking. I place my folded sale into the clear bag and seal with a cute sticker ensuring the item looks clean and well packaged. This also protects the specific item if the box or envelope is damaged so it will still arrive in perfect condition.
Tissue Paper. I do keep cute tissue paper on hand for larger sales that don’t fit in a clear bread bag. If packing a box, the tissue paper adds some padding and a cute touch. There are so many options to choose from and you can even do seasonal prints! When I wrap items in tissue paper, I love adding jute twine for a simple, classic look.
Stickers. This is the fun part! I love purchasing a big roll of fun stickers to seal my sale with. Sometimes I put a cute Thank You sticker on the outside of the box as well. You can even include a few as an extra gift for your customer.
Packing Tape. Even if you have printable sticker labels, you will need packing tape for taping up boxes or reinforcing a label.
Extra
Thank You Notes. Don’t forget a thank you note! I never spend a lot of time packaging, but a cute printable thank you or a quick hand written note is a nice touch. This can also be in the form of a sticker (which is my go-to). I am attaching is a free printable that can be downloaded and printed as many times as needed.
