A Little Bit of Background
DIME was started by a husband and wife team who wanted to create clean vegan skincare products.
DIME is a part of the EWG (Environmental Working Group). Their mission is clean ingredients, approachable luxury, vegan and cruelty free, sustainable products.
DIME takes clean beauty to the next level by using vegan products, no animal testing, and no environmental damage. They also disclose a list of the non-toxic ingredients used in the products.

A Customers Perspective
Let’s establish what type of customer I am. I am an active mom of four that prefers to spend minimal time on a beauty routine. With the intent to enhance my natural beauty and nourish my skin, my make up philosophy is less is best and quality over quantity.
This past year, I have been investing in products from DIME that offer clean ingredients for everyday use. I appreciate products that I can safely put on my skin, knowing that my face feels clean and beautiful. Since my skin is dry, the skin care products I choose to invest in are targeted toward dry skin.
I have found that DIME products have been very moisturizing, even their lip gloss is nourishing. Honestly, my skin feels healthier since using DIME products.
The more we learn and pay attention to what we are putting into or onto our bodies, the more we can make the best educated decision.
With a little research, it’s easy to see that many skincare and beauty products are full of artificial dyes, toxins, parabens, silicones, and sulfates. Since our skin is the largest organ in our bodies, what we put on it is very important. Studies have shown that what we put on our bodies is effecting our overall health.
Although we cannot control everything our bodies are exposed to, clean beauty and skincare products are something we can chose to learn more about and invest in.
So how did I decide to try DIME in the world of clean products in the beauty industry? I started following several people on social media that promoted this brand. They are all women who I respect, are honest, and who value natural, non-toxic skincare.
I contacted DIME before making a purchase and inquired if they would send samples of their perfume. They promptly responded and pointed me toward their Best-Sellers Perfume Sample Kit. DIME popular products I have personally used
Dan Les Bois Fragrance – cedar wood and fresh florals. Scored a 1 on the ewg rating. This is my new signature perfume. I don’t think I will ever tire of the scent! It’s just so good.
Dime No. 1 Cologne – hints of amber. Scored a 1 on the ewg rating. This cologne smells so masculine. It is the perfect mix of musk and sweet and is my husbands new favorite.
Tinted Glow Wonderscreen SPF 30 Shade 02 – contains beetroot. I have tried multiple different tinted moisturizers from other companies. Tinted Glow Wonderscreen comes in a generous size bottle plus the tint give a nice glow.
Tinted Lip Balm – contains fatty acids, shea butter, and vitamins. This lip balm has a subtle tint and adds just a bit of shimmer.
Eyebrow Enhancing Gel – amino acid blend and caffeine. I was skeptical at first but since using this product, I really have seen improvement in the fullness and shape of my eyebrows!
Moisture Set Restorative Night Cream and Dewy Day Cream – This set is a staple. Both creams are very moisturizing and a little goes a long way. The main ingredient in Dewy Day Cream is rosehip oil and the Restorative Night Cream includes Palmitoyl Tripeptide-38, which improves the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.
Hyaluronic Acid Serum – oil free base and scored a 1 on the ewg rating scale. This serum is refreshing and I use it in my morning and evening skincare routine.
Power Patch – antioxidants to help reduce blemishes. Four packets of a variety of size stick on patches come in the Power Patch pack. I love using these nourishing patches on blemishes.
Is It Worth The Investment?
Overall, DIME beauty and skincare products include clean ingredients. I believe that DIME is worth the investment and compared to other clean beauty products, DIME offers an affordable price on many of their products.
