Outside Family Photo Color Palette Ideas
Pastels and Spring Flora Color Palette
When thinking of spring, picture an airy look. Light blues, soft pink, green grass, and beautiful flowers. Spring family photos can also use neutral colors like white and khaki. Spring flora is inspired by ferns, blossoms, and spring rain. Think different shades of pinks, sage green and light blues. The color combination of spring flora and pastels are a lovely choice for your family portrait.
Savannah & Desert Color Palette
Savannah and desert color palette are inspired by neutral colors like brown, khaki, white, and green. This is a classic color combination that can be easily mix-and-matched by the whole family. By choosing complimentary colors, it is a great way to create a timeless family photoshoot.
Summer Coastal Palette
You can’t go wrong with a summer coastal color palette. Think cooler tones that are inspired by the ocean. Blues, whites, and tan. A flowy dress or subtle patterns can also be incorporated into your outfit ideas. For a casual look, pair blue jeans with white shirts.
Apple Orchard and Pumpkin Patch Color Palette
When I think of an apple orchard and the pumpkin patch, fall colors and earth tones inspire me. Beautiful browns with a pop of color like red or mulberry is a favorite color scheme for fall family photos. Incorporate a flannel blanket or a basket of apples in the portrait session. This fall photo shoot is also an ideal time to pull out your favorite pair of blue jeans and denim jacket.
Holiday
For a holiday color palette Christmas colors are perfect for this magical time of the year. This is also an opportunity to include different patterns like plaid in bright red and forest green. Also take advantage of rich textures like velvet and silk.
Winter Wonderland Color Palette
Winter whites, blues and gold is the inspiration behind the winter wonderland color palette. Think snow, icicles and winter citrus.
